Establishes the usage policy of Amec’s logo:
Establishes the formal procedure, requirements and limitations on the use of AMEC’s logo by their permanent associates, among other provisions.
The CEO of AMEC – the Association of Capital Market Investors – lets it be known that AMEC’s Advisory Board, with the objective of establishing the procedure for and requirements and limitations on the use of AMEC’s logo by its associates, and by virtue of the duties set forth in the association’s bylaws,
Article 1 – To authorize permanent associates of the Association of Capital Market Investors to use the Association’s logo, according to the models specified in the annex hereto, on their respective internet pages to identify their association to AMEC and during the period they are AMEC’s associates.
Sole paragraph – Whenever possible, the associate that eventually uses the Association’s logo under the provisions set forth in the caput shall provide a link of the art (logo) to AMEC’s website.
Article 2 – The use of the Association’s logo in other publications or communication materials shall have the prior written authorization of AMEC’s Technical Team, by means of a formal request by the Associate, including the objective of use, the media channels where it will be used, related content and terms, with no prejudice to the request of additional information.
Sole paragraph – The request to use the Association’s logo under the caput terms shall be expressly analyzed by AMEC’s Technical Team. The authorization, including the limits and conditions of use, if applicable, shall be communicated by electronic means to the Associate within reasonable time.
Article 3 – The misuse of the logo, non-compliance with its dimensions and non-fulfillment of the authorization given under the terms herein shall allow AMEC to immediately suspend its use. Such fact shall be submitted to the analysis of the Association’s Committee of Ethics by AMEC’s CEO. Additionally, the Associate shall be liable for any and all pecuniary and/or non-pecuniary losses caused to the Association.
Article 4 – This document shall be biding upon the Associates, its leaders and collaborators. Associates shall watch over the full compliance with its content, under penalty of being exclusively responsible for their employees’ and service providers’ acts.
Article 5 – The use of AMEC’s logo by third parties that are not part of the staff of AMEC’s Associates shall be subject to the prior written authorization of the Association’s CEO, to be granted after the analysis of AMEC’s Technical Team. The third party interested in using the logo shall adopt the procedures and comply with the requirements set forth in the aforementioned Article 2, for the analysis of the opportunity and convenience of the authorization.
Sole paragraph – The non-compliance with the terms of the authorization or with the Articles 3 and 4 herein shall be binding upon the violator, which shall be liable for any and all pecuniary and/or non-pecuniary losses caused to the Association.
